1. Check the Aspect Ratio

a. On the white remote, press the Aspect button.

b. It usually fits best with “through” or “full.” Occasionally “zoom” works as well.

c. Most people can stop at this step.

2. Right-click on the desktop.

a. Choose "Graphic Properties." Resolution needs to be 1024x768. (Your computer may tell you that it is not the best resolution, but it is the necessary setting for the Dual Board.)

3. For the newer Dell Laptops (Metallic case) there are also a couple additional steps.

a. Right-click on your desktop and choose "Graphic Options".

b. Select "Panel Fit."

c. For "monitor" it needs to say "maintain display scaling."

d. For "built in display" it needs to say "scale full screen.

Do Not physically adjust the projector itself unless it has been bumped or moved. The projector has already been aligned for your board.

 

Do Not press “reset” when in the projector’s menu. This will reset your projector to factory settings. Your image will be upside down, the zoom will be off, and the keystone will need to be readjusted.

 

Projector Reminders: Clean your filter often (2-3 times a month) - Turn projector off when you are not using it. This will greatly save on the life of the bulb. Be cautious of using the A/V Mute button in that you don’t accidentally leave the projector running for extended periods of time. If the bulb burns out, contact the Help Desk.
