There are two ways to get CPS to behave properly:
1. Hit Ctrl/Alt/Delete and choose "Start Task Manager."
a. Click on the 2nd tab that says "Processes."
b. There will be a long list of running applications--look for CPS--click on it and then select the "End Process" button.
c. It will give you a warning--ignore it. You should be able to go back to the CPS icon and reopen it.
2. If you don't want to bother with #1 above, restart your computer.
