1. Wired mouse
    1. Unplug the cable from the USB port and plug it back it in.
    2. If that didn't help unplug the cable from the USB port and plug it into a different USB port. Most computers have USB ports on the front of the computer and in the back of the computer.
    3. If it's still not working restart the computer.
  2. Wireless mouse
    1. Unplug the wireless USB device and plug it back in.
    2. If that didn't help unplug the USB device and plug it into a different USB port. Most computers have USB ports on the front of the computer and in the back of the computer.
    3. Restart the computer
    4. Replace the batteries in the mouse
