TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!!!!!
A spirited debate
between the Patriots and the Loyalists was live and in session between
the 5th grade classrooms at Washington and Whittier with help from the
Boston Tea Party Museum. Thanks to Whittier teacher Keith Juelfs, he
brought Boston to Sioux City. During this hour long field trip, the
students participated in a lively town hall meeting complete with
portraying famous politicians, to regular town folk. The students also
went aboard a ship, into the cargo hold they went and broke open crates of tea to
dump overboard.
