How to connect to ScreenBeam wireless display adapters

 

These instructions are designed to help you connect your laptop to the ScreenBeam wireless display adapters that are in the Bryant classrooms. There are no vga or HDMI cables for the connections. All of the connections are wireless.

1. Press the shortcut keys, Windows logo + K, on your keyboard to display the wireless

display receiver list.

Note: There are other ways to open the wireless display receiver list:

 Click the Start button, and then select Settings Devices Connected devices >

Add a device to open the wireless display receiver list.

 Click the Notification icon on the task bar or press the shortcut keys, Windows logo

A, to open the Action Center, and then select Connect to open the wireless

display receiver list.

 Press the shortcut keys, Windows logo + P, to open the Project menu, and

then select Connect to a wireless display to open the wireless display receiver

2. Select your receiver from the device list. The devices are listed as the building and room number. Select the device you want to connect to.

3. The first time you connect to the device you will be prompted for a PIN number. The pin will display on the projection screen. You will then input in the PIN box and select connect.  The following image will be displayed on the projection screen.



4. You should now be connected. Any subsequent time you connect to the same projector you should not be prompted for a pin number.

 

5. To disconnect the device do the same steps and click Disconnect.
